Yahi hai woh baat jo koi bhi YouTube finfluencer aapko nahi batayega. Kyunki ye bikti nahi hai. "Boring consistency" ka koi viral short nahi banta. Par yahi banati hai crore.

The Psychology of Money me ek important idea hai — paisa achha sambhalna aapki smartness pe utna nahi depend karta jitna aapke behaviour pe.

Pehle padha toh cliché laga. Phir book me ek story mili — ek petrol pump attendant aur janitor jo mara toh karodo chhod gaya. Kaise? Blue-chip stocks. 60+ saal. Kabhi bech nahi.

Usi book me ek doosra example hai — ek bada corporate executive, Harvard MBA, 40s me retire ho gaya. 2008 me bankrupt.

Dono ke beech IQ ka farak nahi tha. Behaviour ka tha.

Aur yahi baat Sunita aunty me bhi thi. Unka CAGR koi 35% nahi tha. Shayad 12–13% average raha hoga over 26 years. Par discipline 100% tha.

Calculation simple hai — agar aap 25 saal tak har mahine ₹15,000 SIP karte ho 12% return pe, toh maturity pe aapke paas approximately ₹2.8 crore hote hain. Usi SIP ko agar 15 saal kiya, toh sirf ₹75 lakh. 10 extra saal = 3.7x zyada paisa.

Mera Apna Ek Galat Decision

2021 me crypto bull run peak pe tha. Main Noida me naya flat shift hua tha. Office ke ek friend ne bataya — "Solana le le, 2x ho jayega."

Maine apni SIP ka ek chunk redeem kiya. ₹80,000 Solana me daal diya.

Aap guess kar sakte ho kya hua. 2022 aaya, crypto winter aaya, Solana apne peak se 90% gir gaya. Mera ₹80,000 ka portfolio bachke ₹11,000 ho gaya.

Lesson jo seekha woh ye nahi tha ki "crypto bad hai." Lesson ye tha ki — main apni already-working strategy chhod ke ek aisi cheez me gaya jo mere circle of competence me nahi thi. Kyunki FOMO tha.

Warren Buffett ka ek famous principle hai — stock market ek aisi jagah hai jahan paisa impatient logon se patient logon ke paas transfer hota hai.

Sab ke paas product hai. Goal kisi ke paas nahi hai — kyunki goal aapka hai.

Jab humne goal clear kiya — "45 ki age tak ₹3 crore, taki optional ho jaye kaam karna" — tab investing suddenly boring aur satisfying dono ho gayi. Kyunki ab market ka daily move mere mood ko hila nahi raha tha. Main 20-saal ke plan pe tha. 2 mahine ki red candle meri chinta nahi thi.

Naval Ki Ek Baat Jo Poora Philosophy Hai

Naval Ravikant aksar kehte hain — long-term games long-term logon ke saath khelo.

Ye sirf business ke liye nahi hai. Investing ke liye bhi hai. Apni shaadi ke liye bhi hai. Apne co-founders ke liye bhi hai.

Long-term game me kya hota hai? Compounding. Sirf paisa nahi — trust bhi, skills bhi, health bhi, relationships bhi.

Rule 1: Pehle emergency fund, phir investment

6 mahine ka expense FD ya liquid fund me. Bina iske SIP start mat karo. Kyunki jab emergency aayegi, toh aap SIP redeem karoge — aur woh bhi market bottom pe. Ye sabse costly mistake hai.

Rule 2: 50-20-30 ka Indian version

50% needs (rent, food, bills), 20% wants (Zomato, OTT, shopping), 30% future-self (SIP + emergency + skill-building). Americans ki 20% wali advice India me kaam nahi karti. Humari inflation zyada hai, humari safety net kam hai, humare parents ki retirement ki responsibility bhi humari hai.

Rule 3: Index + Flexi Cap + PPF. Done.

23 saal ki umar me smart banne ki zarurat nahi. Ek Nifty 50 Index Fund, ek Flexi Cap, aur PPF. Bas. Total 3 products. 20 saal ke liye hi nahi — shayad 30 saal ke liye. Jab 35 ka hoga tab portfolio diversify kar lena.

Sunita aunty ka ek last dialogue tha us din: "Beta, paisa uske paas jata hai jo uska peecha nahi karta."
